Hello, readers! I appreciate the kind folks checking my blog for a new post. Just so you know, I am doing my best in the background.

Work has thrown me into a whirlwind of craziness, leaving little time for anything else. I find myself heading straight to the office and staying late, to the extent that I’ve resorted to wearing my weekend clothes to work. While part of me yearned for the comfort of PJs (especially considering my extended work hours until midnight), I hesitated, fearing that such a casual fashion choice might undermine the effort and overtime I’ve invested.

Highlights

First on the list is the record-breaking number of free lunches this month. Since moving out from my parents, this month has been a treat for my taste buds. At this rate, I’m half-jokingly contemplating finding someone to shelter me for free so I can embark on a journey to quit my job and embrace a happy hobo-writer life.

In the realm of breakfast delights, Mr. Bean’s chocolate pancakes have become a daily ritual for the past month. Surprisingly, I haven’t grown tired of them yet. It’s the little pleasure I eagerly anticipate each morning on my way to the grind.

The month also saw me celebrating my cousin’s 30th birthday in Bali, with noteworthy mentions, including the indulgence of hotel stays with pristine white-linen bed sheets. Late-night room service has become a routine, fueled by the belief that fun things happen after midnight.

The enchantment of rain-induced romance and the joy of getting a pedicure, losing myself in the pages of “The Fault in Our Stars” — a book I couldn’t put down, and feeling utterly glamorous in a kimono.
