This month, I flew back to Indonesia and had dinner dates with my parents. I got my hair dyed red and then pink. While running errands, I bumped into someone from the past, wearing a very old, not-fit-for-public-viewing dress. I met Cheryl and the old office gang. I got my tooth temporarily fixed by a questionable dentist and tried to convince a cousin to postpone the wedding while being completely drunk. The next day, I flew to Singapore, watched Kabali, and spent a nostalgic evening with my girlfriends at the Botanical Garden.

On the plane back to Melbourne, I caught up with “Shrill: Notes From A Loud Woman” by Lindy West during the three-hour immigration queue. I tried and failed to #shinetheory a colleague, filed my tax return, and cast a group spell in my first Magick workshop. I cleared teenage-styled jumpers from the closet while adding a couple of ass-fitting skirts into it. I attended an office BBQ party and flew to Sydney for the weekend, running the 5k marathon #TropicalColorRun with Jik.

I got pissed at myself for not following the Sydney Tea Festival, caught up with “The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo” by Amy Schumer on the plane back to Melbourne, and attended another office BBQ party. I stalked Evelyn From The Internet, printed and hung some pictures, and worked late almost every day, stressed out by work stuff. Feeling sick, I took a sick leave day to rest and have some highly needed me-time, having early nights thanks to drowsy medicine.

I attended the Melbourne Writers Festival, cooked steak on weekends, and watched Broadchurch, Luther, and In Between. I celebrated the Blogiversary with a cupcake as the tradition, and I am in the midst of moving the blog from WordPress to Squarespace.
