What are our lives if not a series of organised and disorganised bullet points?

Found and Love

I saw this notebook called Wreck This Journal in Kinokuniya a couple of weeks ago, and I have been thinking about getting myself one. However, I also don’t want it to be yet another journal I neglect (halfway). I wonder if any of you have it. If so, do you recommend it?

Read, Watched and Browsed

🎥 ━ I watched and loved Now You See Me in Cathay Cinema, and absolutely loved it.

📚 ━ I have been reading Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy for almost a month, yet I haven’t finished it. I loved the Bridget Jones series because I enjoy a healthy dose of voyeurism. I also love reading diary-type books and people’s blogs. In short, I want to know what’s in other people’s minds, whether fictional or those of my neighbours. But Bridget’s mind (in the form of her diary) doesn’t appeal to me. There are plenty of self-pitying and self-destructive thinking and behaviours. It’s like Bridget doesn’t have her shit together. Even in her 50s, she is as helpless and clueless as she was in her earlier years. I am tired of and for her. The book is still damn funny and has a healthy dose of wittiness, but I have clicked the off button on my Kindle more than usual ever since I started this book.

I still intend to finish it. I keep telling myself that at least it isn’t as bad as the Shopaholic series, which I considered the equivalent of the TV series Keeping Up With the Kardashians—or, in a word, trash.

Things on My Mind

I need to know what I’m eating tomorrow by today and how I’m going to make it happen. This brings both joy and a sense of peace of mind.
