This Month

I left my job. On my last day, I thought I would be happy, but I was sad to leave behind my job, a steady paycheck, and some colleagues I had grown to tolerate.

We booked flight tickets to New Zealand on a whim. After the drama of being stopped at the airport for incorrect visa documents, we reached Auckland two days later. While Auckland was gorgeous at night and Wellington bored me to death, Rotorua captured my heart. I also visited Waiheke Island and sailed inside Waitomo cave.

I would revisit New Zealand; this time, it would be to the South Island.

The trip to New Zealand also inspired me to become a sheep photographer. I spent days considering tapping into the business side of it.

We also went to the Singapore Cloud Forest, and I took many close-up pictures of flowers there. Retrospectively, I can only think, why did I do that?

I had a BFF day with Jik; visited the cat cafe, and celebrated blogiversary.

So… I have news to share; I am leaving Singapore next month and temporarily returning to Indonesia. The decision didn’t come easily, and to be honest, I am not looking forward to it, except for spending quality time with my parents and appreciating them more since I am coming back with a wee bit more wisdom in my bone (I hope). Also, I am so going to miss my best friends, the food and the MRT here. But, I will not dwell on the sappy stuff now as I am determined to savour my last week here.
