It is already September, and I, for one, am excited about it. It is my birthday month, an awesome excuse to stuff cakes into my mouth many times.

I will be going home this month. There is a staycation on the agenda, and I took a day off for an extra-long birthday weekend. Things are looking rainbow-ey for me.

This month, I want to prioritize rest. It is a hobby I have been neglecting. The nature that I have been denying in lieu of work, work work.

A conversation with Fafa nudged me that I could be happier. I would be much happier If only I would pause and spend some time to recharge. I also want to restart my gratitude journal. To write four things I am grateful/happy about just before going to bed. I think it is an attainable goal, especially with all the cake-eating that is going to happen in the near future. More importantly, I believe this goal will make me a happier human by the end of the month.

At this very moment, I am grateful for the pouring rain outside my window.

I only watched one memorable movie this month: The Hangover 3, and it was good!
