🎂 ━ I was greeted by pink and purple balloons coming out from the shower after a long day at work. Soon after the clock turned 00.00 and I got cupcakes and cards and lots of pictures. This was the second time I celebrated my birthday with short hair. I stayed up a little longer and downloaded new Pottermore e-books – my birthday gift for myself. At work, my manager treated me to breakfast at the restaurant near the river. The age question came up. Not how old but “How do you feel being one year older” I got reminded of the same topic I discussed with the chinkies over lunch at the Botanical Garden. I told them the same thing I told the girls. I know that society dictates that I should feel bad/worried/anxious about being older, but I am not. Age really is just a number for me.
