Queenstown to Lake Tekapo

1 min read

Our last day in Queenstown, and I am so ready to leave.

We packed our bags, and somehow I managed to accumulate additional stuff in the size of a giant plastic bag. What did I buy??? Also, I forgot and packed all my make-up in the luggage, so I had to do the day sans make-up. I looked tired since morning without my trusted eye concealer!

The first stop for the day was back to the airport to get our second rented car.

This car was not half as good as Gumbu (Gundu Simbu), the first rented car. It has no USB port. Ugh! We spent hours driving in the heat without music. Not ideal for a road trip at all.

Fergburger Queenstown

Once we reached Queenstown, we decided to get some lunch and finally tried Fergburger. The best burger in the world, according to CNN. Was it, though? Yes, it might be good, but it was just meh for a non-burger fan such as myself. Done with the burger, we went to have ice cream and munch on Kowaza Fries before leaving Queenstown almost immediately after that. It was time. Queenstown got boring after a while.

Bye Queenstown! We are off to Lake Tekapo.
