Here are a few highlights of this month…

Tea house date with girlfriends

Finally, after missing the opportunity while in Japan, we went to the tea house visited by Queen Elizabeth. She drank the same tea she drank, which was later named Royal Tea after her visit.

Office emails

office emails that announce Fruity Friday every Friday, the occasion “there is a parcel waiting for you in the receptionist area”, and the annual forced office closure week.

Reaching home before dark on a workday

Short-shorts

After months of searching, I found a pair of shorts that fit me perfectly, it covers the thunder thighs well, and I look okay in them. We all know it. Finding the perfect shorts/bikini is a chore!! And I get to cross it off my list. The next item? White button-down shirt.

Time with the Jik

We walked around the city aimlessly. We used to do a lot when we were in school. However, spending unplanned time together is a rarity with a job and pilling laundry.

A different Sunday night

Our usual Sunday nights contain me writing and Fafa playing XBOX, taking-away meals, watching movies together, ironing (Fafa), drinking milk (me), and surrendering to Monday mornings. But last Sunday, we went to a decent restaurant for a sumptuous dinner. The reason? “just because“, Fa said. I love spontaneity.

 And…

I am exploring Arab Street and planning a birthday celebration for a friend (secret). My Amma. Getting and receiving compliments. The blog readers. Afternoon beer session. KOI’s ice cream bubble milk tea.
