Bad Fish on Garuda Indonesia – Jakarta to SG

I went straight from work to the airport and was caught in bad traffic for 2.5 hours. Man, that was one stressful ride.

I kept thanking God that I could still make it on time. I was seated by the window beside a lady who was reading an interesting-looking foreign novel on the other side.

There sin’t much to report back about the food on this Garuda Indonesia flight. The fish was bad, but what could you expect? It’s airplane food. It’s hard to keep fresh food. As a rule of thumb, from now, onwards, I am avoiding ordering seafood meals on air these days. The cake was almost good, but not enough that I’d want to eat it again, both on air and ground.

I need to learn to take better pictures of flight food, especially if it has natural lighting. Meanwhile, the ghastly picture above was taken on the first leg of the trip to Hokkaido, Japan.
