Will Experience For Blog

3 mins read

I just got back from Samoa and was uploading pics to Google Photos to share them with Jik.

While looking through my pictures, random thoughts cross my mind. From “Damn, I took a lot of blurry photos” to:

Omg, I can’t believe we swam with the turtles/sneaked into a high-end resort to use their pool/ climbed meters high wooden ladder/jumped into an Ocean trench that looked exactly like the one in the movie 47 Meters Down: Uncaged where the blind sharks jump out to attack good looking girls.

Now back in my bedroom, with the heater on and the candle burning, obviously not dead from the imaginary shark attacks, these thoughts pumped me full of good feelings.

At times, I can’t believe I did all those things, but then again, I also know that I am bound to do it.

I Can Blog This!

There is a picture taken by Jik in Samoa, where I have a giddy-grin. I recognized that face, the same expression I had in some other pictures of mine taken in different places doing other fun things.

That face emulates a thought that “cha-ching-ed” into my mind, a variety of: “I can so blog about this!“.

Years ago, a blogger I fangirled hard (Sally of Unbrave Girl) said something that resonated with me a lot: whenever she was about to try something outside her comfort zone and got scared or unsure; she told herself that if she went through with it, even if she didn’t like it, at least she could write about it.

Btw, I am heavily paraphrasing here as the blog is no longer online. But that’s what I remember and fondly hold on to whenever I am in the same situation ━ most of the time, my mantra would be, “(at least) I can blog about this!

I keep the blog for myself more than anyone else because I love writing, recording and reflecting on the things that I am passionate and curious about, but there is no denying that it has pushed me to expand my little life so much.

In short, this blog has turned into a portal to the Universe I once could only dream of.

So yes, will experience for blog.
