I prefer my coffee hot – I like my coffee hot – a minute away from burning my tongue.
Saying that, I’d drink it any temp because…
If the coffee is hot, I am keeping myself warm or conversing with someone outdoors.
Or I need it to liquefy my slowly loading post-sleep, frozen by winter, or hazy wine brain.
If the coffee is lukewarm or room temp, it’s a show of abandonment by workflow, accomplished task, too good of a conversation, or a longer sleep-in.
If the coffee is iced, it means summer days and girl coffee dates.
And if it’s watered down by ice, it’s mostly evidence of a fun time – road trips and such.
