Flying Home For Christmas

1 min read

I flew home for Christmas, and I didn’t take the red-eye this time.

I would be home for a whole week, and my parents were thrilled.

I came home to a home-cooked meal, a copious amount of cookies, new TV, and a hello kitty bedsheet.

Sometimes, well, most of the time, I think they see me as ten years old.

I also came home with a cold, so I was made to go to bed by 9 PM with drowsiness from cough medicine.

I am not complaining.

I was up earlier today and spent the morning watching my once favourite TV show, Will and Grace, from 10 years ago.

Amma has everything planned for the whole week.

To go to her friend’s restaurant, go shopping, and go on a road trip to Bandung.

On the other hand, I want to write, do my assignment, get some massage, and dye my hair pink.

Guess we have to meet halfway.

We did agree on one thing for today. We baked cookies with Hersey kisses chocolate. And it turned out deliciously.

Have a wonderful Christmas week!
