Where is home — during my travels, people ask me this all the time — a polite way to say they notice the non-typical accent of the brown-skinned girl, or maybe they are just curious.
I always struggle to answer between Indonesia and Australia, and I once and twice said Singapore — because it used to be my answer and I was drunk.
If only the question was who is home, the answer would be way easier.
