Recently, Newton Food Centre has been my (and Thu’s) go-to place to wind down after work (and study). This particular hawker centre is famed to be a tourist trap, but we don’t care, it’s good and the closest “fancy”-ish hawker centre from my place, in Little India.
We eat (different choices every time, but always with a side of my fave, BBQ chicken wings) and bitch about life before crashing at my place or hers. Life is good, and I am grateful for our friendship.
