Highlights

At work, I had to approve someone’s claim for a car accident involving hitting a kangaroo, and I truly thought I was being pranked. I wasn’t. Apparently, hitting a kangaroo on an uninsured company car is a legit thing that costs an exuberant amount of money.

Foodie Guide-y

We went to The Horn African Cafe & Restaurant with Fafa’s colleagues and their partners. It was a triple date, and I wasn’t particularly fond of Ethiopian food. The stake was high. We ended up having a great time sharing a big plate of sour fermented bread with four unnamed dishes. We even repeated the order and the wine. There were many stories shared over the shared Ethiopian food. Jacqui’s flea market bargained fabrics to Shree’s mishap, using conditioner as a shampoo for a couple of months. I really enjoyed their company.

Things In My Mind

I was also reminded that I have yet to find my own gang here. There is Manda, but she is currently busy with her wedding preparations. Oh well, I shall wait patiently πŸ™‚
