πŸŽ‚ ━ I went back home for my birthday, but now I am back in my Singapore home (the 2x2m room I rented in Kentish Green apartment), feeling homesick. But I am also glad to be back in my room, my own quiet space. Thankfully, Grey’s Anatomy is back. I am starting Season 4, episode 1, tonight. Thank you, internet!

πŸš† ━ I made a birthday wish list and a travel wish list. I have so many things I want to experience! The number one would be to celebrate my birthday on the Trans-Siberian train. I am obsessed with train rides; I think it’s the chicest way to travel. So yeah, a birthday on the train would be an incredible experience.

Foodie Guide-Y

🍻 ━ I went to Pizza E Birra in Plaza Indonesia with my cousins for my birthday brunch, for some pizza (which I don’t like) and Mango beer, which I had been missing since I moved to Singapore and can’t get enough of.

🍣 ━ You know what I was missing but didn’t get the chance to eat while in Jakarta? My beloved Kani Maki in Sushi Tei.

🍜 ━ Luckily, I got to enjoy my all-time fave Bakmi GM.

πŸ› ━ I went to Gandhi in Little India with Uncle Ram. I love everything about this buzzing place.

Read, Watched, and Browsed

I reread Jerry Spinelli‘s Star Girl, which I found in the dusty pile of books in my bedroom in Jakarta. This book profoundly affected me when I was younger, and it was still as impactful the second (or maybe the fifth) time I read it.
