Not a Newsletter: Oct07 Edition

I moved to Singapore and left my books behind. You can replace a kettle. You cannot replace a paperback you have already read four times, with the spine cracked in exactly the right places.

So I went to Borders at Wheelock Place, which was the closest thing Orchard Road had to home.

I went straight to the S shelf for Sidney Sheldon, because Sheldon is what I grew up on and I wanted something my brain already knew how to read.

I got Are You Afraid of the Dark?

I also contemplated picking up Danielle Steel, but maybe next time…
