♨️ ━ Moved to Little India, to a new HDB.

Foodie Guide-Y

🦀 — I got food poisoning—bad enough that I finally gave in and took a sick day from work. In the evening, having not eaten anything all day, I dragged myself out to find food. By that, I mean I crossed the road and went into the first restaurant I saw on Race Course Road: Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant.

Inside, I ordered South Indian Nandu Rasam (Crab Rasam) and some Biryani. Not my usual order at all. I couldn’t stomach the Biryani at all (I asked for taupau, and it’s still sitting inside the fridge), but I wholeheartedly believe the Nandu Rasam was the cure for my sickness.

🐟 You know what food I miss the most when I got healed from the food poisoning: Amma’s lightly seasoned, freshly fried White Pomfret dipped in Indo sweet soy sauce laden with fresh cut bird’s eye chillis. Specific, I know.

🍛 Last weekend, I went to Gandhi in Little India and ate peacefully by myself.
