Not a Newsletter: Dec11 Edition

The last weeks of 2011 were filled with fabulous things – long vacations, gift-giving (I got Aunty a freshwater pearl necklace from Nge Ann and Nina Ricci’s new Apple perfume), layering clothes, eating food, and wearing glitter. It was glorious!

We went to Orchard again today and had Bali Thai for a late lunch. This place is climbing up our restaurant list.

I wish the same and more for making the most of 2012.

I spent a good hour at work today, pretending to calculate the imposed tax while brainstorming things I want to accomplish this new year.

Here is to ending this year on a good note and setting a happy tone for the following year. Speaking of happiness, I recently reread Sonja Lyumbomirsky’s The How of Happiness. This book changed my life.

I learned that I like shitake mushrooms.
