Singapore Expat Diary blog series was inspired by the interest to read about the life happenings of other expat bloggers. I started blogging about my life ever since I moved to Singapore. I hope you enjoy reading the summary of the last 30days of my life, as a Singapore expat, as much as I love writing it.
It started as a regular to shitty Monday. I was soberly aware I only have 0.79cents left in my bank account. I also noticed my tummy was bloated, which has become a phantom sickness every Monday these days. Also, I generally not a big fan of Monday, though I hate Tuesday the most.
Then the boss called me in and said that they are giving me a 20% raise. The day’s mood turned 180 degrees.
That’s it for today. I am taking one hour of screen hour, which was suggested by the Google CEO, to take our eyes off of screen for merely one hour in a day, one waking hour, Which thou seems so easy, it has become unusual to practice since I stare at a screen starting from the moment I am awake until the moment I fall asleep. At least today, I am going to fall asleep as (soon to be with 20% more monthly salary) rich woman.
Thank you salary God!
