I moved to Bishan, “a heartland”, recently, and I love the neighbourhood so far. I also learned that Bishan, as Ang Mo Kio, is called heartland – Singapore’s satellite town, a hub, with everything the residents need around it. By it, I mean the Heartland malls. In Ang Mo Kio, it’s called AMK Hub, and in Bishan, it’s Junction 8.
